My 2009 Accord V6 Sedan's keyless remotes don't work unless I push the buttons several times. I changed the battery to no avail.


Any suggestions???

 

Honda later found the problem was due to excessive gap between the remote's printed circuit board and lower cover. Honda issued new remote transmitters to fix the problem. It is replaced for no charge if under normal warranty. See TSB:

Since you may no longer be under the normal warranty, you can try giving the battery a quarter turn, as shown in the superseded remote info. I've attached. That worked for me before and a few other people.
