Default Knock Sensor Code - P0325

I have over 200,000 miles on my 2000 Honda Accord SE. I am having a problem with the knock sensor code P0325. I have replace the knock senosr twice but the engine light is still stays on after reseting it. The wiring looks great. Please help thanks.

Two knock sensors suggests a problem in the harness or ECU. Disconnect knock sensor at ECU and knock sensor and check wire for short to ground or open circuit. First check for short to ground w/ both end free, then short one end to ground and check other end for wire continuity.

It might be possible for the knock sensor ground connection (where its bolted to engine) to cause problems. Remove and clean engine and knock sensor contact surfaces carefully w/ emory cloth or other light abrasive.

If none of above work, you could have a faulty ECU. A used substitute is cheapest solution. Check ebay or car-part.com for an identical replacement (part number from your ECU).

good luck

Was the replacement OE or aftermarket?

Also, on the 4 cyl, I think there is a difference between the LEV and ULEV.

I just saw a thread where someone replaced their knock sensor - twice - but used junkyard or maybe non-OEM sensor. Then he got an OEM sensor & all was good.
