Good day to you all. I just replaced my old knock sensor and placed a new one. I have driven the car for now but no shuddering or jerking when accelerating from stop. I will drive it on a long distance journey on Monday next week. Does a bad knock sensor has anything to do with a faulty fuel gauge. When i replaced the knock sensor with the new one, I discovered the fuel gauge started reading accurately though it has been bad for sometime now. I'm sending pictures of the bad knock sensor that was removed

 

The fuel gauge and knock sensor are not related, so likely a coincedence.
