Default 1998 accord 2.3l lx knock sensor

Have an old knock sensor that’s stuck, would I be able to place the new one in the threaded holes near the oil filter and use a knock sensor subwire to connect to the harness?

It may work. I just know if the sensor needs to be in a certain position to work properly.

What is stuck on the knock sensor, the bolt, or the sensor in hole?

The sensors bolt is stuck, the threads seem to be stripped. The bolt just spins in place without actually coming out

Unfortunately, things get stripped, but if it spins, but doesn't come out, I would wonder if something else is preventing it.
