Default Knocking during acceleration/brake

Hello People of HAF!

I am in need of your godly knowledge once again...

Ok, I have a Honda accord 93 LX. For about 2 months now, I've had a knocking noise when I accelerate at low speeds (0-10mph), and brake from (10 to 0). There are only 2 knocks, and I don't hear it when I'm moving. Its coming from the front passenger side. I can feel it sometimes with my foot when i ease off the brake or step on the gas pedal. My neighbor, a mechanic (works for lexus) has been helping me for the past 2 sundays and we cant solve this problem. We both changed the transaxle mount (located on passenger side) & front motor mount. The driver motor mount is still good, and the mount on the back of the engine is destroyed. I dont think that is causing the problem since its been destroyed years ago. The drive axle on the driver side is brand new, and the drive axle on the passenger side is still in good condition. The boot isn't torn, so I'm assuming the CV joints are still okay... It knocks regardless if I'm going straight or turning.

We inspected the brake pads and bracket. We lubed the screws (holding the caliper) because they were dry and sticky and the pads.

We found that the bushings (thats what he called it) located near the drive axle were cracked and missing so we replaced those.

He said it can be a messed up caliper but he isn't sure and gives up. I asked him to see if my mounts were loose so he got a bar and shook my engine for sounds. No knocking noise was heard... so... any other ideas?

Did you check all the syspension bushings?

Radius rods that go forward from the lower control arm. Check bushings at both ends.
Loose swaybar end links? stuff like that?

He might have but didn't say anything. I'll double check. I'll get back to you when I have a chance to talk to him. Thanks for the quick response.

ANY of the suspension bushings can be loose or falling apart.

Bushings #15 & 19 in the lower control arm.
Radius rods # 9 & 11 are bolted to the lower control arm. Loose??
Stack of bushings at front end of those radius rods - Loose??
Ball joint on the outboard end of the lower control arm - Loose??
Fork on the bottom of shock #20 & 21 loose??

Then there's the upper control arm pivots & ball joints...

Yeah, that nut #28 is way forward & easy to overlook. It would result in that stack of bushings (# 18, 14, 13, 17, 18, 16) being loose.
