Default Lifetime rust warranty...transferable?

Hi guys,

My 01 Accord that I just bought was originally purchased with the lifetime rust warranty. I can't find anyone at Honda who is able to tell me if it is transferable. The car was bought in Canada. Does any one know? Thank you.

Regards,
Mark
01 Accord 4 door

I didn't think honda offered that as a factory option. Do you have any paperwork on it? Sounds like an aftermarket add-on

Good question...it may have been offered by the dealer. I will check. It doesn't cover rust from rock chip but rust that has started from the inside...just like my last 2 Accords...both by the rear wheel wells.
