Can someone tell me if the P-N-R-D4-D3-2-1 lettersare on the shifter in the center consoleof a 2000 Accord supposed to light up at night? I know the indicators on the dash light up, but I'm not sure if they should light in the console. Thanks.

cant recall if my 07 does or not...havent seen it in almost a month.

 

I think mine do....never really paid attention to it.

 

I bought my Accord used and thought it was odd that they didn't light up. Now that you say that, I assume theyaren't supposed tolight up..... I am not an expert by any means, though.

That's exactly the situation I'm in. Still not sure if they're supposed to light or not. Will wait anxiously for smaglik's reply.

My 99 doesn't, however, I bought it used so maybe it did when it was newer???

 

it should light up... all accord and most car are suppose to light up...
change the light bulb........

i have 94 and it light up....... my friend 2005 light up too....
