Hi, my name is Gozilla and I have a 2005 Honda Accord LX 4 cylinder engine and I am and have been having issues with the consul lights. When I turn the head lights on, the dashboard lights work fine (speedometer, Tach, etc.) My issue is that sometimes the consul lights come on while I'm driving, never when I just turn the switch to engage the headlights. Now, the little tree lamps that indicate the a/c, up and down air flow etc will go dim then get bright. Same thing happens with the dashboard lights. The speedometer goes dim, then get's bright. I replaced the part (lever) that you twist to turn the lights on and off this past summer. Did not make a difference. Replaced ever fuse I could associate with lighting. Nothing, that didn't work either. So, I come to the experts seeking a solution to my dilemma. All suggestions welcome.

Not really a question about engine internals, so I'm moving this over to General Tech where you'll probably get more people helping.

Sounds to me like the dimmer module is being flaky, but for 2005 I'm not sure where that's located...
Hope someone chimes in with a test method so you're not throwing parts$ at it without knowing.
