Default Location ABS fuse box?

Hi,

My ABS is acting up on my 1997 Honda Accord 1.8 litre and I want to check the fuses, unfortunately I cannot for the life of me find the ABS fuse box. The manual says it's right hand side of engine compartment (passenger??? that's right?). Somewhere here on the forum I read it's supposed to be near the under-hood fuse box, which is easy enough to find.

Somehow I'm blind to it. Any tips as to where it's located?

WELCOME!
1.8 liter isn't a USA car. Litre sounds like the UK spelling??

Right & left side of the car is from sitting in the driver's seat. Looking forward.
USA passenger is on the right side of the car.
UK driver is on the right side of the car.
Get it?

Yep. All cleared up. And I'm in Canada, so the passenger side is right side like the US.

Okay, the 94-97 Honda Accord Coupe repair manual says the ABS fuse box should be between the under-hood fuse box and the battery, passenger side, but I don't see it there. Maybe the manual isn't specific enough to my car even though the specs download page said it was, mine's an LX, 4 cylinder.

Default Cancel that

I just assumed the car had ABS. But it doesn't, so no wonder I couldn't find the fuse box. Must have a warped brake rotor instead.

OH YEAH...... I guess the LX was available with or without ABS. That is if your dealer had enough inventory to even give you the choice. Besides, USA & Canada have always had different collections of equipment on their Accords.

If you click USER CP up near the top, you can change your profile. Canada (or whatever you put in) will appear in your posts so we aren't guessing.
