I'm looking at an 06 sliver accord. it has 54 thousand miles on it. the guy is asking for 11 grand but i can get him down to around 9. the front driver side bumper is alittle banged up though and the driver side door pops off the fender when you open it. I had a mechanic look at it and he said the engine looks good but the body work is not to good. i was wondering if someone could run the vin number for him and help me out. the vin is 3HGCM56456G705780. And if anyone else has any suggestions that would be great too. thanks

 

if your lucky someone might have a open carfax account, but they will usually ask for a fee. be prepared.. usually asking fee is $5.00 thru paypal

i would pass on that car. it obviously has body damage and possible suspension and frame damaged not noticeable to the untrained eye

I wouldn't bother running the VIN unless you can get it done for free. As Tek said, there's possibly (even likely) structural damage that you won't be able to see. I have a friend who had a low mileage Lebaron that had a door that popped off and a passenger quarter panel that was creased in other than that though it was great, but it was discovered that it was in an accident with a semi truck. Not a car you want to be driving around.
