Default Looking for keyless entry/remote start, need some help?

As the title says, I'm looking for a keyless entry and/or remote start kit for my 2000 Accord LX Sedan, but I have no clue where to begin. I'm on a college budget (<$50), and being able to install it myself should help with that, I'd imagine. Suggestions, links, and tips are all appreciated! Thanks!

auto or manual? remote start is NOT recommended for a manual trans car due possibility of car moving if it is left in gear and it cranks the engine.

2000 accord has immobilizer so you will need a spare key for the remote start to work

It's an automatic. That's good to know, actually. My friend just got a '98 EX sedan and wanted remote start, but it's a manual.

And just for clarification, what's an immobilizer and why would I need a spare for it? I have one, just curious.

Thanks!

EDIT: never mind, I now know what an immobilizer is/ does c and why I'd need my spare key!

Default skip the key bypass

i did mine several years ago. I skipped the key bypass module by taking apart my factory key and gluing the rfid pill to the ignition cylinder. just play with it till you find a spot that works. my starter alarm keyless entry has an immobilizer anyway. also I can know use basic Honda key blanks and don't need the dealer to make expensive spares!

I use prostart keyless entry alarm start immobilizer combos from Canadian tire. $50 on deepest discount. work great and fobs are cheap! I've done about 10 of them now.

I use their website for diagrams and confirm at bulldog. sometimes they have easier locations for wiring.

I can't seem to find what you're describing. Everything is in the $300+ range Link, maybe?

So far, I've seen that minimum is to spend around $100 USD, but having to install it yourself :/ Also, I have 16" aftermarket wheels from Momo, called Winter Pro Silver. They sit a 205/60/16 tire, got my tires and wheels from Discount Tire for ~$700.

Link To a picture of them on my car.
