Egr
I have the same problem with my EGR valve. I had it replaced 5,000 miles ago and now my engine light is on again.
So I took it back to this douchebag mechanic and he told me he wants another $500 cause he says it needs to be cleaned. I would much rather put that money towards a new amp if I could do this myself.
So I just need to take it out and clean it? Thanks for any help!
oh and until I get around to setting my signature up my whip is:
99 Accord EX
3.0L V6 V-TEC Auto

I moved your post to a new thread to make things less confusing on the original thread.
Search for v=HRp6RWZ1egM on YouTube for a good video on how to do this on a V6 engine. This is for the V6 Acura TL. This is similar to the accord V6.
There is also a TSB on how to do this on the accord. Copy and paste the link below into your browser to see the TSB.

Hey thanks for the guidance. To be honest I just got m accord last week and I don't even know how to get a code. Do I need some kind of diagnostic equipment?
Probably sounds stupid. I wanna do the EGR because I think that's why the engine light is on in my whip. (At least that's what the previous owner said) Thanks for the link.
