I need new front lower control arms as well as ball joints for my 2003 Accord EX-L 4-door automatic (230K miles). I don't want to spend more than I have to, so I went on Rock Auto and found control arms for $52 each (Ultra Power brand) and ball joints for $21 each(MAS brand). My question is, does anyone recommend a particular brand or website for these parts? I'm trying to avoid paying OEM prices... Thanks!

 

I don't have a preference with aftermarket brands. I try to stick with OEM parts if the cost is not outrageous. Find the OEM prices at a site like hondapartsnow.com to compare to aftermarket prices.

On my old accord, I had the bushings replaced by a machine shop on the lower control arm and used OEM honda bushings to save some money.

 

I went to ebay and searched "91 accord front suspension" and it came up with kits.. I think my kit had 11 pieces in it. the kits vary in size. I think it was like $190 for the entire kit. I use my Accord as a DD and its been a year since ordering the parts and I've had zero issues. Rides like a champ, just looks like a POS.
