Hey Y'all

I will check the codes asap

I feel kinda stooopid that it was easy to find once I help my lips just right.

I threatened a lot worse on this lil forker
I worked 15+ years in the auto salvage indusrty a really morbid sound a engine block makes when crushed in a press

Torches air hammers bolt cutters & a K~10 gas powered 14" abrasive saw & this lil forker will bother me no more!

Insert evil laugh here

thanks so very much

Once you get them. You can clear them by pulling the "back up/ECU" fuse from the underhood fuse box. Pull it, wat a few seconds and re-install......done

Well, IMO - leaks are easier.

Can you give us any clues as to where the leak is....behind the block, left drivers side of the engine, right pass side of the engine?

And just me, nice to know the PCV was a "fix" to your other issue - been there, done that and gave me a smile to know.

I hate that one on these. EGR issue of some "sorts".

Clear the code(s) - pull the fuse from the underhood fuse box.

This is where you call me crazy. Be sure to clean the neg battery cable....at the battery, where the bolt goes to the body....just beside the "tray".....and where it goes to the trans.

Drive the car for a bit and see if the code comes back.

the code is still there .
Not sure if I have mentioned this before.
Check engine light used to come on intermittently shut off key & would go away
now about 3 miles & its on & burning ,PLUS
I drove it to airport with light burning & when I got there the temp was in the red on high.

was not low on coolant but the passenger side fan is not running switched relays with power windows & the relay works but no fan.

I will try to power it up with my power probe later today.

At highway speed would that fan even matter?
It did not boil over

UGH! now what?

Thanks

We can get back to the CEL.....the overheating is #1 now.

Does sound like the fan motor has gone.....as you said, put 12v to it and see if it works.

Once you get that sorted out, we can get back to the CEL.
