96 accord ex 2.2l automatic.
So I have started getting this mechanical rattle sound while I am driving as my car warms up. Sound like a bearing rattling or possible gear noise. It is noticeable at the top of each gear around 3000 rpm +. It is quiet enough I can't record the noise with my phone but loud enough to know it is not normal. Noise appears to be coming from the right side of engine bay. Only does it while driving and pretty much stops after car is warmed up. Any thoughts?

 

Check the valve lash - using proper procedure - as a start.

 

Thought: I try to encourage spouse to warm up the '97 Accord AT for a couple+ minutes before driving off.
