Default Mixing Motor Oil?

Hi there,

I accidentally bought 10W30 instead of the 5W30 that usually gets put in my 310k mile 95 Accord.

Is it bad to put 10W30 into a car that has 5W30 in it?

Thank you!

Both 5W30 and 10W30 will have the same viscosity at operating temperature (100 deg C). The 5W variety will have better flow characteristics at very cold temperatures ... well below freezing.
