Default Moog Tie rod help

I just received my new Moog tie rod ends (ES80287 & ES80288) for my 2005 Accord EX 4cyl. The left hand one has the boot firmly attached to the body, but with the right hand one the boot was loose in the box. I can't get in on enough to stay put like the other one and am afraid if I get too aggressive i will damage it. I was hoping to get this job done while off work for Christmas. I will try their tech line tomorrow if they are open, but if anyone has run into this before I would appreciate the advice.

BTW, I was surprised to see there is no retaining ring of any kind for the boots. I bought Moog because of their reputation. Was it the right choice?

From the photo I looked up it appears the tie rod has a lip you roll the boot over.

I see what your saying but the boot is way to stiff to roll. I tried calling their tech line but they are closed for Christmas. I may have to just send that one back. Since the tie rod goes on the car with the stud pointed down that boot will just act like a funnel for water if it's not seated good.
