mtf fluid

From: in pa for now till june im moving to florida
Exclamation mtf fluid

i have a 01 honda accord ex 2.3 vtech and its manual tranny what would be equivalent to the honda mtf fluid .that can be used and not hurt the tranny. dealer wants $10.00 a qt. and just woundering if there is any way cheaper then that like atf or someone told me 10w30 but thats only for just till you get the dealer fluid to put back in . please help

looks like the capacity is only a couple of qts. 20 bucks is cheap insurance to me. you could use 10w30, but your shift quality will be affected.

I install this in many manual boxes, it seems to smooth out shifting.

but alldata does call for honda mtf.

yes i know just looking around cuz my trip to florida is comming soon. and just looking for alternative for cheap quick fix

DON'T use ATF.
If your synchros are getting weak, I've heard people say the Pennzoil Synchromesh improves it somewhat. Redline makes good fluid too, but it's not that much cheaper than Honda MTF.

NO FLUID is gonna fix something that's actually broke.
