Please forgive my ignorance as the brain does not work any more. (more health problems than I care to think about).

After 4 days (I only can get out there to fix the car for 20 minutes at a time before my breath gives out) I think I may have actually found the relay.

What is this part?? it is located behind the hood release on a 1989 honda accord lxi

Nevermind... Found it !!! It is not that I am dumb just increadably stupid at times. I got in a strange position under the dash and, well, looked up and to the left.

There behind the heating vent is the relay. Now to spend the rest of the day trying to get that &^#**&@!!! piece of crap out
