Default Driver side (master) window control problem

So, I have a 1997 Accord LX sedan. Whats wrong is i can roll down the passenger side front window with the master control, but cant roll it up. I CAN roll the passenger side window up and down sucessfully with the passenger side control. This problem is non-existent with the other 3 windows in the car. Any Ideas/Help is welcome and appreciated. THANKS!

Check the connections on the master switch and try cleaning the contacts on the master switch with something like quick-drying electrical contact cleaner.

Default Exact same problem

I have the same problem...except the window that will not roll up with the driver's switch is the rear passenger side.

I switched out the driver's window switch and it didn't make a difference.

Electrical gurus....any ideas?

Thanks

Will the window go up by using the switch on the rear pass door?

Poorman212 -
Yes, the window will roll up and down using the rear passenger side switch.
The window will roll down with the driver's switch....but will not roll back up with the driver's switch.

I switched out the driver's door switches with a new one and no difference in the problem....driver's door still will not roll the rear passenger window up.

On another post...it was suggested to spray some electronic & switches spray cleaner on something...do you know what was being referred to?....if it were the driver's door switches...that will not help me because I replaced the switches?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Fell like "jumping" some wires on the master switch?

From the wires going to the master switch - should be a 14 pin connector. To make the window go up, jump the Yellow to the Yellow/Black. Jump the Yellow/Green to the Black. Key to on, does the window go up?

If so, do you have a volt meter. We can test the switch to confirm it is not making contact. This is where the electrical cleaner may come into play. If dirt and that is preventing the switch from making contact to all of the pins.

I will perform your suggested test either tonight or tomorrow night. I will post back with results.

Thanks for the suggestion and explanation.
