Default Need Advice again on TRANNY!!!

As I posted here earlier, my tranny was filled with non Honda AFT (almost 4 quaters! way up higher than the hatched area of the dip stick) in the garage due to tranny line split on the highway and couldn't fix myself on the side of highway. I have changed with Honda AFT twice and will do the 3rd time this weekend. Since the non Honda AFT was put into the tranny, it happened twice that when I shifted from D3 to D4 to speed up, the RPM was reaching 3500 but the gear was not engaged to overdriven, and the speed didn't go up due to the low gear (though the shift stick was already at D4 position). I had to release the accelaration a little bit so that the RPM dropped and overdriven was engaged. Is it all by accident or rearlly due to non Honda AFT? I never come up with this situation before (or don't quite remember having this before).

Please input and comment. Thanks in advance!

Default RE: PROBLEM ON TRANNY!!!

Thanksa lot! smaglik.

It really IS a problem! I started at D4 all the way today (I usually start from D3 and shift to D4 when the RPM reaches 2500) and it lost power after the planetary gear shifted the 3rd time, and I was waiting for the jerk from gear shifting, but it did not appearas usual, and I totally released the gas padel, accelerated again, don't remember how it came eventually, scary on the highway.

As you pointed out, I am not gonna change the AFT again, but any cure to the current problem, is my tranny dying? worried about spending 1~2k for a new one!

Please give some hints.

Thanks!
