Need advice on selling a *very* used Honda?
Hi, just registered on the site so forgive me if this is the wrong forum/area to post this. If there is a forum better suited for this question just point me in it's direction!
My mom wants to sell her old Accord for as much as she can get for it (which won't be a lot) but neither of us are car aficionados and have no idea how much she should ask. Even just a ballpark estimate would be extremely helpful!
It's a baby blue, 1995 Honda Accord, grey leather seats, automatic, sunroof, no A/C, windows have trouble rolling up and down.
I don't think Kelly Blue Book can help me in this situation because the car is pretty crappy. It might be worth more in parts than an actual drivable car.
Here is what is wrong with it besides what I stated above:
-front driver's side headlight/bumper crunched in from a wreck. Driver's side headlight is missing/doesn't work
-no air or heat
-leather seats are cracked
-car doesn't start right now. the battery can be jumped off but it probably needs a new battery as well as tons of mechanical work, she never took it in for maintenance and didn't get the oil changed frequently enough
-needs new tires
-interior dash lights go on and off, some gauges (gas, speed) stop working at random
-car makes strange buzzing noise when started
-random rust spots, none are *that* bad, probably 2 or 3 spots the size of a silver dollar
She was driving the car everyday up until a few months ago when she let it sit too long and the battery went out. I think it has around 100k miles on it.
So, obviously as you can see it's pretty crappy. How much do you think she could get for it? Do you think around $500 sounds reasonable? Any chance she could get more? Or is $500 too much?
Any feedback would be much appreciated! She wants me to post the car on Craigslist but I need to know a fair price to ask.
Thanks in advance!

Not trying to be a smarty, but give mom $50.00 and then pay the salvage yard $80.00 to tow it away.
It sounds like it's too much of a mess to pass it on to anyone...
I'm being straight up ...
