Need ECU, HELP!!

Default Need ECU, HELP!!

I have a 96 Accord F22B1 VTEC with an auto to manual swap and fully rebuilt engine. I do all my work myself I need an obd1 or 2 ecu with vtec that is for a 5 speed can anyone tell me what ecu i need? or would it be better to use the f22b1 AT ecu i have? need help thanks

It would be best if you get an OBD-II Vtec ECU from a manual trans car.

X2. They're not very expensive. I have read that the auto ECU can be converted:
This is a very simple conversion. Move the SMD 0 ohm resistor from location RP13 on the bottom of the PCB to location RP14 on the top of the PCB. The 0 ohm SMD resistor is identified by code 000 etched on it.
That's from PGMFI and it's for a P5 Prelude ECU, but post #82 in this thread:

...says it works on a P0J ECU, which is a non-VTEC OBD2 Accord ECU. If it works on a P0J, there's a good chance that it will work on a P0H.

Wasn't sure if that worked on the OBD-II ecu's or not.....I've read the same from "PGMFI" before??? Don't spend much time reading on there but still good info.

Im new to tuning ECUs, so are you saying that i can alter mine to make it work? or are you saying i have to get a new one and alter it? Also thinking about getting a Bisimoto Stage 2 cam if that matters

It might help someone in the future if you posted that it worked on your P0H in the Honda-Tech thread.
