Need help

Default Need help

Wussup guys i am new to this site...

Got a question i got a code of p0506 which is an idling code of a low rpm... Is there a way i can boost the rpm power? I know the first thing is to clean the fujita intake that i have any other 0ptions?

If your wondering how you got over here..then You need To know it was I that moved you Here..This is the correct forum for the question you asked...

P0506 is an IAC (idel air control)a circut condition or idel speed which is higher or lower than expected thru the computer.

Probable Causes can be an engine vacume leak, the IAC motor being defective, having a dirty throttle body, and last of all you could have a silly loose connecter on the IAC..Check it out...

I guess since it's an OBD-2 code, it must be 1996 or newer. But it would really help to actually know what it is. 2008 4-cylinder is a lot different from a 1996 V-6 which is a lot different than a 1996 4-cyl...
