yea man it kinda sucks but Honda put the anti-theft so deep into the ECU that it cannot be bypassed on the 6th gens.

can u change the shift cable on the transmision on the 96 i found a 97 but when i try to take the motor out i broke the cable is there a way to chang the shift cable its a auto

yes you will need to replace it from where it goes to the trans to the shifter in the center console.

Not too hard

how do u pull the trans from the motor dose it have to be i park or neutral

dude you are not using the service manual?

DL it for free right here on this site and print out the pages you need.

That is how I did my 5 speed swap

Trans, to remove first pull the access cover at the bottom, then you will see the tourque converter, undo the 4 bolts holding the converter to the flexplate, then unbolt all the bolts holding it to the engine, slide it away --- IT IS SUPER HEAVY!!

ok i need help again i cant take the flax plat off i try useing some of my sockets but its not griping on the bolts
