Default need help finding auto trans asap

hey guys, my trans is bad and need a new one.
i looked locally but cant find any, it seems that 98-02 accord is not that good. i found 3 cars but no trans!

i tried looking online but not sure where to get it.
pls provide me a link if possible tnx.
need car asap for school!

The 98-02 accords are notorious for having a bad transmission. One from a junkyard can result in the same problem down the road.

I would either find a very good transmission shop to rebuild it, or get a quote from a honda dealership.

Depending on the year of your accord, honda extended the warranty of the transmission. You should put the year and model of accord in your signature.

my car that need trans is a 98 and has 150k miles.
do you know how much is a rebuilt trans cost?

Shop rates will vary, so call around to get some quotes.

This is just a guess from me. ~$1000 for the rebuild and ~$900 for the installation.

i think we only have 1 machinery in Maui HI and he said he doesnt do trans.
do you think roughly 1000 thats including parts?
ill do the installation tho.
