Need help! Finding a front wheel hub assembly for 97 accord ex 2.7 v6
Need help finding a front wheel hub assembly for my 97 accord ex with the 2.7 v6. I took the knuckel up to a shop to get the bearing pressed out and while they were looking at the new parts their scrap guy came by and took my old assembly. Come to find out the part I received were for the 2.2 and now I'm stuck with the correct bearing but can't out it back together. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I knkw the parts for this car are scare seeing how honda only made that model for 2 years
Would have have to change the knuckel as well or could I still use the one that already on the accord. Cause find parts for either car has been a pain
The knuckle is the identical between the V6 CL and the V6 Accord, so you don't have to swap them. I am pretty sure the 4-cyl CL has a different knuckle part number. Not sure where you are sourcing the parts, but I'll suggest to write down the OEM part numbers for your car on a site like hondapartsnow.com and also the OEM part numbers for the donor Acura CL on an OEM parts site for Acura to be 100% sure. You want to make sure the donor vehicle has the same knuckle and bearing part number. The hub and rotors will be different, because the accord has the hub over rotor design, and the Acura has the normal hub/rotor setup.
When I did this swap on my 4-cyl 95 accord, I found a great price for the 4-cyl CL knuckle and hub. Since the knuckle was identical, I swapped the entire part as it was easier than swapping over just the hub/bearing assembly.
