Can you elaborate on "something is wrong with cylinder number three."

There is speculation on my part as to meaning of LTFT 3 = -100%. I interpret this to mean LTFT changed to -100% when cylinder #3 misfired and this was stored as Freeze Frame data when code was recorded. This could be wrong interpretation. The numbers may indicate sequence of misfires rather than cylinder number. For instance misfire sequence might be P302, P304, P306 and LTFT 3 is associated w/ cylinder 6 misfire.

High negative LTFT could also mean lack of O2, which seems unlikely, so excess fuel supply seems more likely (sticking injector or debris in valve movement.

regards

I have emailed Linder to get a price and ask what brand I would get.

I am a bit **** when it comes to sensitive replacement parts for Japanese cars. I prefer to stick with the brand it originally came with. Not necesarily Honda, but the underlying manufacturer. For example for my oxygen sensor Honda wanted $180. I was able to get an NTK for $120. NGK spark plugs, etc.

Linder also offers an injector refurbishment for $30 per injector. It looks similar to the other two.

I meant to add the following. If I get refurbished injectors I may get a different brand or of lower quality. If I get my injectors done I know that they are what was spec'd for the car.

Two days of car downtime I can schedule in. Refurbished injectors would reduce downtime to one day.

I just heard from Linder. They do not have any cores for my injectors. They offered to perform their maintenance service. They are located in Indianapolis.

Also I have learned that the local guy I mentioned does about 1,500 injector servies each month.

My bad. I have not heard back from Linder yet. Mr. Injector does not have any cores.

Linder did not have any cores.

Here is the latest. I have replaced the fuel injectors with used ones (72,000 miles on them). I will be shipping them to Mr. Injector to get them cleaned.

However, I am pretty certain that this will not resolve the issues. I have driven the car 7 miles tonight after replacing them. I now have codes P0301, P0306 P0300 and P0304. I will drive it more tomorrow to see if more codes show up. I have not heard the ticking noise yet. The intake manifold was pretty dirty in the passages, but I guess that is to be expected.

Now what?

Yes, I had reset the ECM prior to driving the 7 miles. The codes I received are new.

I asked earlier, but didn't receive a reply. Are the misses real and always there, or go away when warm?

good luck
