Does anyone know how I can remove the passenger side airbag completely? I was in an accident a year ago and it bothers me. I currently have an airbag in the steering wheel but its not connected. Any help is appreciated I just dont know where the bolts are to remove the passenger side airbag.

What year is your Accord?

In mine all you have to do is remove the glovebox and you can get to the bolts from underneath.

Also, it sounds like your airbags have already been deployed, but disconnect your battery and pull the SRS fuse before you do anything anyway. Play it safe.

 

Sorry my accord is a 95 EX v6. Yes they have been deployed already and I will disconnect everything before removing the airbag. Im pretty sure all I have to do is remove the glovebox like you said but Im not even sure where the bolts for that is or how many there are. I like to be prepared before I go attempt anything.

 

Well in case you haven't done it yet, I'll go out and do mine now just to see what's up.
