need some help what can be the cause

Default need some help what can be the cause

new member saying wassup and have a trouble shoot question i have a 1991 honda accord ex the cooling fan come on when the cars is stoped and hasnt been driven all day it come on and turn off and then after a while it turns on again this goes on till the battery is drained if any one reads this that had the same problem some help would really be appreciated

This was also a problem with my accord along with alot others ... for me it was 1 fan.. the auxilery fan which is the fan on the passenger side.... it was always turning on after i turned my car off and it would stay on for like 10 minutes [:'(].... now that was when my old radiator was in it pics are below ... i put a new radiator in my car and made sure that all of the cables were connected right.... and vuala.. you should check your radiator and see if it is anything like mine below... and then you should make sure that all of the fan's cables are connected.....

One fan is controlled by engine temp - the other runs only when the A/C is on.

Sounds like the temp sensor that controls that fan is defective.
