Default New dude with a wagon

Hey y'all,

I just purchased a 95 accord ex wagon and wanted to introduce myself. The car is an automatic and has the F22B1 motor. I was enjoying it for a few days until I started having trouble with the iac valve (I think). I've cleaned it out (the screen was black with the gunk) and unplugged my negative battery terminal to reset my ecu, as I've read to do on a thread here. After that, instead of a low idle it sat around 1100 rpm and was seemingly pretty rich, even once it's warmed up. I tried giving it some throttle but that made the rpm drop back down and will even cut the engine off.

Sorry about my intro being me asking for help, but I'm here and ready to learn.

So, it turned out my distributor was leaking oil internally. Since being replaced I have had no issues with my car dying.
