New Honda manual owners, starter question
For owners of newish Honda manuals, is it possible to move the car using
only the starter ? In other words, have the transmission in gear & then turn
on the starter ? This will move the car without the engine running.
In older manual cars, this could be done but I've been told there's some
kind of switch or lockout that prevents the starter being on & the clutch released or in gear at the same time. TIA.

I'm not aware of any built since 2010 which will allow you to engage the starter motor without having the clutch pedal depressed, they all have a clutch interlock system which forces you to push the clutch pedal in before the starter will engage.
That said, using the starter to move the car is a very bad idea as it is extremely hard on the starter motor.
