Have Honda Accord 2000 model, am currently having issues with transmission shifting, from 1 to 2, it use to hesitate while moving from this 1 to 2, especially when the landscape is not level, others shift very well. Also shifting backwards to 2 is not smooth.
Within 1000 miles i have changed my ATF oil twice to solve the probs.
Scanned the ECU twice, no error code from the transmission, the only error from the main system (engine) is the O2 sensor.
What is the cause and what do I do to solve the problem?

 

Whats the mileage on this trans?
The drain & fill is a good start...But depending on mileage, that may be the sign of a trans that about to fail?

 

The 98-02 are known to have very faulty transmissions.

Have you tried pulling the codes from the ECU?

 

Scanned the car twice no error code from tranmission, the only error code is the O2 sensor from the main system. The milleage is 192,011.
