New Member with Honda Accord 2001-i4 EX
Hi to All in Honda Accord Forum,
I am new owner of Honda accord 2001 V4-exe model.
I love my car. But I have one issue , I dont know whether any of you have experienced this type of Problem.
During the Winter I had issue while Starting the car (Ignition), So during the Month of March, I bought a New Battery from Costco (Kirkland), Thinking my issue will be resolved. Now the Issue is that whenever the Outside Temperature is aroung 15 to 18 C, Car never starts or if it Rain , but When temperature is above 19C will start with out any issue. So I thought it might be problem with the battery did Exchanged Still I do have the same issue.
Yes the Strater Drags (I Feel there is not enough power to ignite) . Just to let you know. radio , Clock works with out any issues
I dont know whether is it a problem with the starter or Battery?
Could you please give your input?
Sorry, If i have posted in wrong secton, As i am new..
Thanks in advance..

Okay, I have to ask, what is a "Honda Accord 2001 V4-exe model"?
Most probably you meant to write "Honda Accord 2001 I4 EX model".
Regarding your starting issues, problems like this are very difficult, if not impossible, to diagnose over the internet. It would probably be best if you took it to a professional for diagnosis. That said, what you've described does NOT sound like either the starter or the battery.

Welcome to HAF and thanks for joining.
Double check the cable connections to be sure they are clean and tight....both ends of both cables....also the "boot/cover" over the + cable can hide things so pull it back as far as you can and check where the cable connects to the actual "clamp" that goes on the battery.
Also, watch the CEL light. When the key is turned to on/pos II - the light should come on for 2~3 seconds and go off.......during this time listen (turn everything off - radio, blower, door closed - that makes noise) for the fuel pump to prime.
Good luck - for more follow up, make a new post in General Tech with what you have found from these added observations.
