Default New motor, need help with VTEC!!!

I bought a 94 Coupe DX 5speed. The motor had about 230+k on it And it was overheating so I took it out and replaced it with an F22B VTEC from Honda kings.

I remachined the head and got new block internals, pistons, crankshaft, bearings etc. Cleaned the crap out of the throttle body and now I'm running a clean *** motor with 45k on it.

Only problem is I was unable to find a VTEC wire harness and south motors Honda told me $432.89 for a new one, special ordered, 2 week wait from the dealer.

Screw that.

Can anyone help me out? Point me to a DIY for wiring NON VTEC wire harnesses for VTEC?

The Help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Just two pins to wire, I think. You'll need a VTEC ECU.

page 11-5 in the Honda shop manual should help you out. You have the right number of pins, but the numbering is wrong.

To get the manual, go to the common diy thread on top of the gen tech help forum. Open the online manuals thread. Open the hondatech link. Download the 94 shop manual as a free pdf. That should help a lot.
