Default new person lol need some major help with my 1990

ok well im new and have a 1990 honda accord ex...the problem is that it idles really low and shuts off most of the time.and when i bought it and drove it home one of the spark plugs melted the plug wire and i replaced the spark plug but there was oil all over it.and there was a point when i was driving it started loosing all of its power. and it has randoomly shut off a couple times on the road...if you could tell me wut u think is wrong itd b great thanks

This section is really for welcome & introductions so I'll move your post over to General Tech.

Oil in the sparkplug tubes means you need a new valve cover gasket. Maybe also some seals further down in those tubes, but search for "sparkplug tubes" or something like that. Oil causing misfiring is probably the reason for flaky idle & stalling.

I agree you probably need a new valve cover gasket but u might have some issues other than that. I would check your distributor cap and rotor its a common problem on hondas for them to get old and crap out. I would also check your map sensor and maybe you might need an idle adjustment wich is pretty easy to do
