that's weird to say the least.... Is it still under warranty? Sounds like a sensor issue to me, Can you take it in to the dealership for warranty repairs?

Yeah, its only got 25600 miles on it, so I am good for another 10000 miles. Its just a huge PITA to get it there. I suppose I will have to drop it off the night before, so they can start it nice and cold the next morning.
Odd thing is I asked my wife about it, she never noticed it, so when she gets back from vacation (i'm in Florida having to work, she is with our daughter in NC visiting her bro,...not that I am bitter or anything[X(]) I will have her check it out. I hardly ever drive it, if she says its normal, then fine, I wont mess with it.

Sorry, forgot to mention, Thanks for taking the time to brain storm for me. I'll likely bring it in anyways, the auto shifter has been feeling like it has some 'sticktion' shifting between Park to reverse or auto and back again, but I think that might be becuase I think my wife spilled a bit of soda on it.

If there is still warranty I wouldn't mess with anything just in case it becomes an issue that rears it's ugly head in the future you are going to want a full history of the shop etc... regardless your best and safest option is to deal with the dealership, perhaps give them a heads up of what's going on before you go in so they can do some research and lineup a rental if they do that sort of thing
