Hey, I'm new to the forum. I drive a 2002 EXL 5spd. 103k on the car. Car has given me no issues until I recently blew a valve and head gasket. Even before that, however, the car started burning through oil really quickly. If I went over 3k without changing, the warning light would come on and I'd be down a ton of oil. The car was never like this before. Anybody have any experience with this? The car still runs great, just wondering if something could be causing this. I've switch to a longer life oil, but haven't tried synthetic yet. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.
