OK, so I just got a 99 Accord Lx and the guy had some kid put in a new CD player and he said after he had it put in the dash lights were flickering and the just went out. I am not really good with anything electrical anyone have an idea. Fuses are good. Thanks

 

Well, don't take this the wrong way, you've kind of answered your own question.

Double check the fuses, inside and underhood. If they are good, something in the radio/CD wiring isn't correct-loose connection, bare wire touching something.

 

Did all that today and still no go.

 

The new radio is probably wired incorrectly. How was the new radio wired? Did they get two harnesses and join them in the middle to make an adapter?
