Default No Spark in 94' lx

The car will turn over all day long, sounds fine, just no ignition. Clearly no spark. Car has close to 200,000 miles on it, so almost all parts probably could use some work. Already replaced distributor cap, but still nothing. How would I tell If its something with the electric parts inside of the timer? Or whatever that thing is that sits right beneath the distributor cap.I'm almost 200% sure the problem is located in that area of the car(right around dist. cap)
Solutions or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sorry its so broad, not the best mechanic...

First, suggest downloading the 94-97 Accord Manual from this site. This has tests for the ignition coil and ignitor. You will need a Volt-Ohm Meter (VOM) to test the coil primary and secondary resistance.

I believe the LX has the non-VTEC, B2 engine. Primary resistance is 0.4-0.6 ohms and secondary is 22000-34000 ohms. If resistances are out of spec, suggest replacing coil.

If resistances are w/i spec, ignitor is more likely the problem.

good luck
