noise under the hood after engine is turned off
I got oil changed on my Honda wagon lx car. I took a long drive in rain, When I came back home and turned off the engine, I heard noise as if a fan was running under the hood. After some time the noise went away. I started the car, took out of the garage , turned off the engine. I heard the noise again . I looked under the hood and did not see anything. After few minutes noise stopped.
I don't know why this humming noise is occurring. For years I have never heard this type of noise under the hood after turning off the engine.
Please let me know if you know the cause of this noise.

What year is your wagon?
I can't think of anything besides the radiator fans, or the cabin-ventilation fan. So if you open the hood and they're not running, I guess you can try to pinpoint the location of the sound.
The "new member" area is mostly for welcome & introductions, so I'll move this to General Tech where more people will see it.

What year is your Accord wagon?
Start the engine and turn on the a/c. Do both fans work?
The range for the wagon was 90-97. Open the hood when you hear the noise. Look at the radiator fan to see if it is spinning. The radiator fan should be on the passenger side and has the larger electric motor vs the a/c condenser fan.
