cam moves when I crank it over so not a broken timing belt, could the fuel pump not be giving enough pressure? I did the starting fluid and had no start with that either.

New development. If I turn the key to on, and let the pump prime indefinitely. Then go to start it almost fires up and then dies. Fuel Pump?

How do I get to the fuel pump? The haynes manual doesn't tell me, and I pulled the back seat and don't see a panel.

lots of white smoke, rough idle, loud exhaust, almost dies if you hit the gas and then let it go

Tell us a little more about how the passenger compartment got wet. Did the engine compartment get wet too?

Mostly just the passenger floor. The windshield seal was bad and I went through an automatic wash and a gallon or more of water cam in and went in the dash. That being said the car is running as of last night just not very well. Before this all happened I had a check engine code for a bad injector on cylinder 3. I have new one's coming, I wonder if I should get those installed before trying anything else?

Also, when I start it I have to touch the gas pedal a little to get it to start, after that its fine. The temp needle go's hot pretty quick too, but the upper rad hose is hot and the other is not which is good so I think the coolant temp sensor may be bad.
