Default RE: O2 Sensor

So, I was under the car today for oil pressure switch swap. I looked at aft of cat and did not see any O2 sensor there.
I am doing a little more of research and readings regards to O2 Sensor. I am learning a lot about the sensors and part numbers.

I drive this car with sensor disconnected for now, because of sefety/ drivability.

I am sure there are people changed their O2 sensors by themselfs. I wonder on what car and what sensor other people have used.

For Honda OE sensor, local dealer wanted $225. Contacted Denso and NGK for theirsensor P/Ns. They both were very helpfullto give me information I needed. I bought Denso sensor because of price, $50 with shipping vs. $75plus shipping. The sensor came and I changed Bosch sensor to Denso sensor yesterday. The car is running fine, now. No more CEL. The Bosch sensor was faulty or did not match with the car.

Good deal! Thanks for posting the final fix.
Good bet that Denso made the original factory sensor...

This is my thread from two years ago.

Today, I replaced O2 sensor again. This time, it cost me $35, no shipping charge!!
I haven't driven the car yet but it was started to make sure it is working. First thing I noticed was the initial RPM jumped to 1500 rpm and then came back down to 1000 as it warmed up. With two year old sensor, I had to adjust idle speed up a few month ago. Now I think with new one, I may have to adjust down.

Is this normal?
