O2 sensor on 89 accord LXI

Default O2 sensor on 89 accord LXI

i have a ? about the O2 sensor on my 1989 Honda Accord LXI.On the front of my engine they are 2 sensors are both of them O2 sensors or just 1 of them and if so what side is the O2 sensor on.Thanks Again

I'm not sure what sensors you are talking about on your engine. Take a picture and post it on here and we can help you identify them.

The oxygen sensor is bolted into the exhaust manifold or possibly on the exhaust pipe before the catalytic converter.

There are two O2 sensors on the 89 LX-i models....trust me I have one in the driveway . So the two you are seeing are the two O2 sensors the car has.

I think back then they went by "A" and "B" - one kind of points to the drivers side and the other to the pass side.

If you are getting a code for one of them. I would replace both and call it a day, they do wear out so I can only guess as old as the car is, one has gone but the other can't be far behind.

No, I'm not a fan of just throwing money/parts at a car........

sorry i should have said they are on the exhaust manifold not the engine.Thanks poorman212 ill go buy 2 of them .

Again, I don't like just throwing parts at an issue.....but if there are no exhaust leaks and that and you are getting a code for them.....
