Default O2 Sensor trouble

I have a megan racing header and silverline exhaust. I had a leak in my exhaust that was recently repaired (sensor in bank 2 was replaced at this time). It burned out my O2 sensor (bank 1). I replaced the sensor, cleared the code, and the next day the check engine light came back on. The code was for the sensor in bank 1. I am not sure what else to do at this point. I have cleared the code (again) to see if it will return. I have been fighting this exhaust issue for months now...

Download 94 shop manual from online manuals link in the DIY section. The 94 is obd1, so the codes will have different numbers.

There are several O2 sensor codes, do you have the specific code for your car?

I would test the O2 sensor at the sensor plug to make sure that you didn't get a bad sensor out of the box. Look at diagnostics for code 1 or 41 in the 94 shop manual.

Deserthonda also mentioned in a post that the O2 sensor wiring goes through a connector near the shock tower. Read https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/for...ead.php?t=3331

I know that I figured out which plug it was by looking at my shop manual. The paper version showed the wire colors and what electrical connectors they were routed through. Not sure if the pdf has this. I'll look at my paper manual when I get home.
