Since it has a trunk key cylinder, it would probably be a sedan.
1. Issue can be with the multiplex integrated control unit (MICU is part of the under-dash fuse/relay box), wiring, or the trunk latch switch.
Disconnect the 3P gray connector from the trunk latch switch. Apply power (+) to the trunk latch switch's terminal no. 1 (where Yel/Grn wire was connected to) and body ground (-) to trunk latch switch's terminal no. 2 (where Blk wire was connected). Only apply battery voltage momentarily to prevent damage if the motor is good.
If the latch works, then it is either an issue with wiring or the MICU. If it doesn't work, it's an issue with the trunk latch switch.
2. Although the separate trunk key cylinder can be tested for continuity, it may not be necessary since you're having issues with the latch.
