Odd problem...
Ya definitely the gas gauge. Now its not starting and the gauge dropped to e again.
Around 130k miles. But the fuel pump would affect the gas gauge?
Alright so I went in and removed all the carpet and everything from the back. Found a ground that looked disgusting and was a little loose. I'm assuming that this is the ground for the Fuel Sending Unit. So cleaned it up and sanded down the area. But the ground back on and I hear the fuel pump come on when I turn the key and the gas goes back up. So far everything seems to be working normally. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
Cross your fingers & hope it's fixed. A bad ground can certainly cause both the fuel gauge and fuel pump issues.
Main relay could've caused the fuel pump issues, but not the fuel gauge. Pics are a bit out-of-focus, but you're looking for tiny hairline cracks in any of those solder joints on the circuit board. If you're good with a soldering iron, you could re-melt all of em anyway, just for grins.

fuel pumps many times now come as assemblies and in these assemblies are incorporated the fuel level sender.
if you found that it was a loose connection, then you have possibibly found your problem. Yah Yah! I hope this is it, cause it saved money!
an intermitten electrial supply can cause the same symptoms as a fuel pump going bad.
