Odd Sound from Transmission
Hey all.
I have a 2006 Honda Accord EX-L I purchased in June.
What I have noticed lately is when the car has been sitting either all day or first start of the day in the morning, when I put the car into "Drive", I hear a transmission go into gear with a clicking "engaging" sound.
I sometimes get the sound when I go from reverse to drive and the car is still rolling a bit.
I took it to the dealership to the dealership and they could not re-create it.
Does anyone have any idea on what this is?
Thanks.
Dave

RE: Odd Sound from Transmission
it is normal for you to hear the click as the shift fork engages. it is not adviable to engage the car into reverse or forward gears when the car is moving in the opposite direction even if it is slow.
