Oil Leak! Please Help!

ok. I'll ask them.. Wouldn’t the magnet inside the oil pan (if there is any) attract the shavings?

No, none, zero, zip, nada. Why? Because unless I'm mistaken, your pan is made out of aluminum.

No magnet, unless you install a drain plug with a magnet. The transmission drain plug has a magnet.

As an update. JiffyLube made new threads and installed a new magnetic drain plug. Everything is ok now, and I didn’t have to pay a dime. Hopefully this problem wouldn’t happen again.. Thank you all for the advise!
