It's not so much the brand, but how you change it. You could get some oils to stretch 7,500 miles, but the way I drive I stick to 3k or 5k. I used Mobil1 on my 5th gen, using it again on my 6th gen since it's had Mobil1 since it came from the dealer.

Go over to bobistheoilguy.com and do some research, then pick an oil that fits what you want to spend. I don't have a problem shelling out $23 for Mobil1 5W-30 or $10 for a Mobil1 filter, although I am going to order some different filters since no one sells what I want around here.

ziwang55...

I really don't want to sound rude at all... Don't take this the wrong way...

But would you mind spending a little bit looking through the forums before posting? I know the search engine isn't working but these topics are pretty commonplace.

Now, since I'm already taking the time to say that, might as well say:

I use Mobil1 - 5000... Said to be good for 5k miles, But I still change between 3000-4000mi.

I've also used Valvoline SynPower syn/dino blend, it's good stuff, but I'd rather stay at full synthetic.

The Search feature does work!!!! Click the link in my sig, you can use all the variables the HAF search uses, just type them in.
